The International Workshop on Higher Education Reforms
November 9-11 2009 held in Mexico City and focused on "State and the Market in Higher Education". The workshop series has been initiated by CHET in 2003; subsequent workshops have been held in Vienna, Tokyo, Dublin and Shanghai. The Mexico workshop is the 6th in this series. Campus 2020 is a report written by Geoff Plant, QC, on the restructuring of postsecondary education in BC. You are invited to join in a critical analysis of the Campus 2020 Report presented by members of CHET, followed by a panel of postsecondary leaders who will respond to the Report from the perspective of their sector. Opportunities for audience participation will be provided in two moderated discussion sessions. The outcome of this June 4th event will be a formal written response to government.
